I work at The Northern providing both one-to-one Personal Training, and running many of the fitness classes we provide to both members & non-members.

Working to stay fit & healthy, or working towards these goals,  should be enjoyable & fun, and I base my training sessions on these considerations.  With qualifications in Strength & Conditioning, Pre/Post Natal,  Exercise for Older Adults, Core Stability,  Functional Resistance Training and others, I provide tailored sessions to achieve your goals, whether they be sport specific,  general health / fitness & mobility, weight-loss, exercise resumption, or  for a special day or event.

With a personal background  in rackets sports  I aim for movement-based, fun & varied sessions... suitable for all levels of ability or fitness.

Rachael Hunt
Rachael has worked as a Personal Trainer and Coach for over 10 years, recently relocating to Manchester from Stoke-On-Trent.

She has competed in Bolton Ironman (2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike followed by a marathon) half Ironman events, numerous running events and will be competing in 100km race on Sept 13th, 2014.

Her particular interest is in how strength and conditioning programs can hugely benefit both endurance athletes and athletes of any sport, and is a Certified CrossFit Level 1 Trainer and a CrossFit Endurance Coach.  Rachael specialises in POSE running focusing on run technique to improve both speed and endurance. With a strong emphasis on technique and the foundations of strength and conditioning Rachael takes great care in providing the most effective program for an individual to succeed at their chosen sport or particular goal.
