I work in the gym at the Northern every Sunday between 10am and 8pm. I’m also one of the assistant squash coaches (Level 3 qualified) working on both the junior coaching clubs and running the adult Club Night sessions every Wednesday.
I’ve been really fortunate in having worked in sport since I was a postgraduate student back in the 1980s, firstly in MMU and later in Sports Development for Manchester City Council. I qualified as a Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2006 and offer personal training to clients on a one to one basis. I specialise in core strength, developing strength and speed and (particularly squash related) injury rehabilitation.
Come and talk to me any Sunday when I’m on duty, or phone/call into the club to book a slot in the gym diary.
