Classes

At The Northern Fitness Club we have a wide range of fitness classes available to suite all ages. View our  timetable (from 15th October 2012).

Please NOTE : from w/c 25th March 2013, we will be introducing Express Spin.  This intensive 30 minute session, combines a variety of studio cycling techniques, and is in addition to the existing 45 minute classes on the schedule.

For those Early Birds, there's Express Spin, 7.15-7.45am, on Wednesdays.

For those who are able to take a break at lunchtime, 12.30-1pm on Wednesdays, followed by an optional Absolute Abs workout, 1-1.15pm.  This replaces the "Lunchtime Mixture" class.

CLASSES SUBJECT TO CHANGE AND ALTERATION

Spring Bank Holiday Monday 27th May - 10.30am Aerobic Circuit class (all other classes and running club cancelled)

Once you have joined or registered to attend classes, you may book classes on-line (full/fitness and health members 7 days ahead, non financial members 3 days).  Alternatively, please phone 0161 445 3093.

To attend classes on a "pay as you go" basis, you must FIRST complete the application form - please download and either scan and email to membership@thenorthern.co.uk or hand in to reception.

MARTIAL ARTS

Shaolin Nam Pai Chuan Kung Fu offers quality martial arts training, involving traditional forms, self defence techniques and Chi Gung breathing exercises. We invite you to come and train in a friendly, welcoming and safe environment, under a highly qualified instructor with over 30 years martial arts experience.

Classes held : Tuesday 8:30pm - 10:00pm

Friday 7:30pm - 9:00pm

WiseMove Dance

Wise Move Dance was formed in 2009 by Sue Gregson and Bethan Rhys Wiliam, having been inspired by Sadlers Wells’ Company of Elders.

They are a self-funded contemporary dance group based in the North West of England, open to women and men of 50+ to explore different styles of dance, and work to perform original pieces choreographed by Bethan Rhys Wiliam.

Clases held on Sunday afternoons, usually fortnightly at The Northern Tennis Club.

Time: 2pm - 4.30pm
