Conference And Functions
The Northern has Conference and function facilities available to hire for both members and non members and is an ideal venue for functions of all kinds.
We have a board room and conference room, along with the clubhouse, which has recently been refurbished and extended to include a covered, heated, decked area, which overlooks our grass courts.
We can cater for any type of event large or small, formal or casual. Our large Clubhouse is ideal for social events, weddings or parties, our Conference room is perfect for Corporate meetings, presentations and smaller functions and our Board room is ideal for smaller more intimate meetings.
The Northern Kitchen & Bar have an extensive list of buffet menu’s for you to choose from at various prices, whether it be small finger buffet, large hot fork buffet, BBQ or sit down formal dinner, Emma, Zoran and the team will be happy to help you with all your requirements.

Corporate
If you are looking for a place to hold a corporate event or business meeting then there is no better place than The Northern’s Conference Room.
The Conference room also overlooks the grass tennis courts, and with ample parking, you and your guests can focus on the business at hand with no interruptions.
Tea and Coffee are available throughout the day and can provide very competitive food and drinks packages from breakfast meetings with continental or full English breakfast buffet to all day meetings accommodating your delegates in our restaurant for coffee, lunch and informal afternoon meeting.

Parties
Come and celebrate with us. We cater for all types of party from birthdays to wedding anniversaries, christenings, fundraisers, quiz nights or anything else you can think of.
Our friendly team are happy to help with the arrangements let us cater the event. We have a resident DJ’s available, who come highly recommended and of course a fully stocked bar to keep your guests happy.

Is your child's birthday coming up? Want to do something different for their party? Why not hold a tennis party here at the Norther. Prices start at £14.95 per child for a party of 16 children which includes 1 hour of tennis with one of our coaches and a hot or cold meal including juice in our Conference Room. With the club’s close proximity to Southern Cemetery Crematorium, the clubhouse is ideal for holding a wake. We have received letters of commendation from those who have used this facility. Please contact us bar@thenorthern.co.uk for further details.
Weddings
The Northern is the perfect setting for your big day. With stunning views of the grass tennis courts from our newly fitted covered decking and ample parking for your guests the Northern is the ideal venue for your reception.
The Clubhouse can seat 55-60 people comfortably for a sit down wedding breakfast meal, and our outside covered decking area, our conference room or even a marquee out on our lawn can provide extra space should you need it.
For your evening reception the Clubhouse can be transformed into a party area and can accommodate 200 people maximum, with a late license till 1am you can celebrate all evening ensuring your big day is one to remember.
Emma & Zoran at the Northern Kitchen & Bar will help with planning room layout & food and drink. We also have resident DJ’s for you to hire, who come highly recommended and a selection of Band contacts for you to choose from.
