Here at The Northern Kitchen & Bar we are all about offering delicious homemade tasty food, much of which is locally sourced and created a welcoming environment for all who visit. Our food is freshly prepared in our own Kitchen, or if not we have sourced it from somewhere we love and we know you will love
Since we took over the Clubhouse in July 2011 we have strived to give people something special when they come to the Northern Kitchen & Bar, a lovely eating experience with delicious food and an easy atmosphere making the most of this unique and beautiful setting for members, their friends and the public to enjoy.
The Clubhouse can offer something for everyone. The bar area offers a perfect dining space for our extensive menu, our Weekend Brunch Menu and Sunday Lunch In the summer the newly fitted covered decking area, which overlooks the grass courts create an outdoor facility second to none and is the perfect setting to enjoy our summer BBQ's.
Whether your with a group of friends enjoying a bottle of wine and a platter on the decking on a sunny day, reading the morning paper enjoying an Eggs Benedict with a great cup of coffee, or enjoying one of our homemade hot specials and a pint of real ale in the evening after a great tennis or squash match, we cater for any time of the day.
The Clubhouse is also a great space for our Quiz Night which happen every two months, our regular live music nights and our legendary Members parties. We also have two big screen TV's showing all of the Major Tennis tournaments, premiership football and all other major sporting events throughout the year. For special sporting events we have an even bigger projected screen!
The Northern is a Private Members Club and as such our Member's are extremely important to us and everything we do here, but the Northern Kitchen & Bar welcomes all visitors to the Clubhouse - from members friends and family to the general public - it's a fabulous space for everyone to enjoy, all we ask is that visitors to the Northern Kitchen & Bar are respectful of the Members and the club.
